Whether COVID-19 is still present in our communities or not, our spa facility will operate with the following standard policies and procedures to protect staff and client safety. We at Zardus ensure our procedures & sanitation measures are implemented consistently in order to protect ourselves and our guests - We have high standards of practice, ethics, safety and sanitation for our staff and facility. As a standard cancellation policy, we request a 24-hour cancellation or request for appointment reschedule. Same day cancellations and no-shows may result in a 50% appointment fee invoice or charge - repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in a requirement for prepayment of services.
Client arrival & session Processes
We are by appointment only, so please wait in your car until your practitioner comes to greet you outside the spa entrance
Prior to entering, your practitioner will take your temperature with a no-touch thermal temperature reader to make sure you don't have a fever
You may be asked to wash hands upon entry & apply sanitizer
Our facility is “Mask Optional” and therefore, your practitioner & you may choose to wear a mask before & during session
Your practitioner will guide you to your session room
We will ask if you have any symptoms of illness including a cough or digestive issues. If you have a fever or symptoms of illness, we will reschedule your session to a later date
At this time, we will not allow client guests to wait for clients in the reception area or in session rooms. In the event the guest is a legal guardian of the client, an exception is made
If you are sick or have early stages of symptoms, please call your practitioner directly to discuss the possible need for rescheduling your appointment for at least 14 days from your appointment date - we want everyone to stay healthy and vibrant
Pre-session screening
Please expect a phone call or email health screening at least 24 hours before your appointment – Our Health & COVID19 Prescreen Survey with Informed Consent forms are still required and must be completed 24 hours prior to appointment. We will ask:
Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days or has a health professional asked you to self-isolate in the last 14 days?
Have you been in close contact with someone experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms or have you cared for someone testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
Have you been tested for COVID-19 in the last 14 days and if yes, what was the result?
If you have any of the following conditions, you must have a doctor's clearance to receive a massage: heart or lung conditions, high blood pressure, obesity, terminal diseases, pregnancy.
If you develop symptoms of illness or test positive for COVID-19 within two weeks following your session, please call us immediately. We will follow up to check in on your health 1 week and 2 weeks after your session

We will wear Personal Protective Equipment when needed & aprons
We wash hands before & after every client interaction
We reapply hand sanitizer throughout your session & may ask you to reapply as well
We change sheets & blankets between every client
We sanitize all cloth furniture & curtains after each client
We sanitize our chairs, desk, equipment & lotions handled during session
We sanitize doorknobs & light switches after each client
Massage Class equipment is wiped down & sprayed with sanitizing cleaner
All general areas of our center receive the same detailed sanitation daily
